Urgent Needs

Funding:
We are seeking $6,600 to fund student research assistants for the calendar year 2009. We would be pleased to received any portion of this from persons interested in the success of this project. Please see our Giving page for details.

Eyewitnesses:
We seek persons who can tell us what it was like to be a Latter-day Saint in West Germany or Austria during World War II. The most reliable eyewitnesses tend to be those who were born before 1940.

New Focus:
We are now focusing on the West German Mission in the borders of 1939-1945 (see West German Mission for a list of the thirteen districts and all branches.) We encourage all readers to aid us in identifying surviving eyewitnesses and in collecting stories written by and about deceased members of the Church in that mission.
