10 January 2011: The first editing of Under the Gun by the publisher is completed.
15 November 2010: Under the Gun is accepted for publication and scheduled to appear in June 2011
10 April 2010: the final manuscript of Under the Gun is submitted to the publisher.
1 January 2010: the first draft of the second book is finished: Under the Gun: West German and Austrian Latter-day Saints in World War II.
1 September 2009: The first of two books has appeared: In Harm's Way: East German Latter-day Saints in World War II. (see Books )
1 April 2009: The layout expert of the Religious Studies Center has begun her work on the East German Book.
1 Feb 2009: Ashley Jones of Boise, Idaho has joined our research team in charge of communications.
1 Sept 2008: All work on the East German Mission volume is completed. Final interviews and document collection are being conducted for the West German Mission volume.
24 Jun 2008: The text of the book is finished. Final editing is underway. We anticipate the publication of the book in early 2009.
6 May 2008: All of the districts are done except for Spreewald, Stettin, and Zwickau. There are only 16 chapters left to write.
13 Mar 2008: The first 42 chapters of Volume 1 (East German Mission) have been written.
13 Feb 2008: The first 27 chapters of Volume 1 (East German Mission) have been written.
14 Dec 2007: We have learned that all donations made to this program by 31 December 2007 will be matched 1:1 by Brigham Young University.
14 Dec 2007: The first eight chapters of Volume 1 (East German Mission) have been written.
